Service Delivery

Service Delivery is a part of the Location Admin service that allows cloud owners to view subscriptions to cloud platform services. It serves as a centralized place for viewing, managing, and updating cloud services.
The Service Delivery tab is designed to display information about releases and updates of ICDC services and subscriptions to them.

Service Delivery is divided into two tabs:

  • The Subscriptions tab displays a list of all available services that the current cloud platform can subscribe to. The table shows the service name, subscription start and end dates, and their status. Users can also click on the service name to view a more detailed description.

    Subscription Statuses:

    • Active - subscription is active from the start date until the expiration date;
    • Unapproved - subscription is unapproved;
    • Expired - subscription is expired.
  • The Services tab displays a list of services subscribed to by the current cloud platform and available for use. The table lists the service name, installed version, available update, available release, status, and control buttons. Users can also click on the service name to view a more detailed description.

    Service Statuses:

    • Installed - service is installed;
    • Deleting - service is in the process of deletion;
    • Fail - some fail occurred, e.g. service unable to be launched;
    • Error - some error occurred, e.g. service unable to be installed;
    • Expired - subscription has expired;
    • Running - service is in the process of installation/update/upgrade;
    • Pending - service is awaiting of installation/update/upgrade.

When newer versions of services are released, the Update button will be available. Users can opt out of using a service by clicking the Delete button on the right in the corresponding service row. When deleting the service, user can choose not to remove the persistent data used in this service.
