To create a private OpenShift route for the application being developed, you must use a domain of the form
*.<account>.svc.ocp.<location>.icdc.io

For example:

<app name>.<account>.svc.ocp.<location>.icdc.io
Where
<app name> - the name of the application or route
<account> - your account name
<location> - current location
